With year-end rapidly approaching, we wanted to let you know what to expect for the upcoming tax season!

Firm Holiday Break

In order to spend with our families during the holiday season, the firm will be closed from Friday December 22, 2023 through January 1, 2024. Once we are back, we will answer all correspondence as promptly as possible.

Individuals and Trusts

If you have signed a proposal with us through Ignition for your individual and/or trust taxes, you will be hearing from us no later than the second week of January with your initial information request.

Businesses

If you have signed a proposal with us through Ignition for your business taxes, you will be hearing from us in the first week of January. The initial correspondence will include information related to 1099 filings and our initial document request list for the preparation of your business return(s).

Timing

Remember, our turn around time from when we receive all of your information is six weeks.

For a partnership or S-Corporation to file without an extension, all information will need to be to us no later than January 31, 2024.

For individuals, trusts/estates, and C-Corporations, to file without an extension, all information will need to be to us no later than February 29, 2024.

    • Due date for Oregon Pass Thru Entity (PTE) Q4 Estimates
  • January 16, 2024
    • Due date for individual and fiduciary 4th Quarter Estimates
  • January 31, 2024
    • Due date for Oregon Corporate Activity Tax (CAT) 4th Quarter Estimates
  • March 15, 2024
    • Due date for Partnership and S-Corporation Tax Returns with a 12/31 year-end
  • April 15, 2024
    • Due date for Individuals, Trusts/Estates, and C-Corporations with a 12/31 year-end
